Eastbourne

Eastbourne is one of the sunniest places in the UK and a thriving tourist destination. The town is surrounded by the South Downs countryside, with notable landmarks such as Beachy Head, the picturesque village of Alfriston, and the cinque port of Pevensey.

Eastbourne has excellent road and rail links to Brighton (25 miles) via the A27; to London (78 miles) via the M25; and to Gatwick Airport via the A22.

One of the first things you’ll notice about Eastbourne—in addition to its lovely seaside ambiance and renowned Victorian pier—are its beautiful gardens and elegant wide streets. And you’ll see well-preserved buildings with beautifully maintained pathways. Every now and then a Napoleonic Martello Tower will remind you of the city’s rich history.

Because of our location and sunny days, many outdoor activities, from paragliding to kayaking, are available on the stunning South Downs coast. Come and see for yourself!
