I stayed for the first time 2 years ago and they were most helpful then, two years alter , was remembered by the staff, majority still here. which is good. Great Location

This little hotel was pleasant enough. No frills but we were using a deal voucher so was good value for money. Room and bed basic but clean, breakfast ok - nothing fancy but, again, we didn't expect haute cuisine. Absolutely fine for a quick weekend getaway.

Cycling Break

We had a wonderful weekend at the Savoy court hotel travelling on a cycling trip from Margate. We were greeted when we arrived with a cup of tea and selection of cakes which after the ride we were extremely great full for. Rooms were clean and comfortable and facilities very good. Evening meal and breakfast were excellent. The club are already thinking about our trip the the hotel for 2014.

Cycle Club Weekend

Our group of 25 cyclists and family members were made very welcome when we turned up on at the end of a wet and weary bike ride of about 85 miles. We were met with tea, coffee and biscuits, and given a secure location for our bikes.
The food at the evening and breakfast was of a good standard, and the service from the staff was excellent. Although we made several changes from our initial booking, these were readily implemeted by the hotel.

We hope to return to the hotel next year, and will recommend the hotel to other cycling clubs considering a trip to Eastbourne.

A Gem In Eastbournes Crown

The refurbishment of the Savoy Court Hotel is excellent. It is comfortable and friendly, a home from home at a reasonable price. Travelling alone I have never felt awkward staying there, as the staff are most welcoming. I would not hesitate to return.

Great Hotel, Great People, Great Service

We booked our stay at the Savoy Court via a great promotional deal and we're pleasantly surprised at its close proximity to the seafront, pier and all other amenities. It was a short walk to catch a bus to Beachy Head, Brighton or Hastings.

The hotel has been constructed from three houses (circa 1830's) and is tastefully decorated throughout. The nature of the constructions limits the extent to which the owners may utilise available space, however they have managed to do a great job. Our room, though compact, was comfortable, well equipped and benefited from excellent en-suite facilities. Furthermore, the bed was probably the most comfortable we have experienced when travelling. The basement dining area is roomy, with plenty of space between tables. It also boasts a comfortable TV lounge and separate bar area, stocking a range of beers, wines and spirits - all reasonably priced.

The hotel is well maintained throughout, meticulously clean, and tidy. The breakfast was tasty, plentiful and served hot (with a smile).

Perhaps the most striking feature of the Savoy Court is the hospitality and service afforded to guests. The owner is pleasant and very approachable. Most significantly, he is interested in what guests think about his hotel and the service he offers. Ubiquitous Maurad, the charming young manager works had to ensure that things run smoothly and that guests' needs are catered for - always on hand, to arrange anything that is required (from laundry to extra toast!).

We could not have enjoyed our stay more - so much so, we extended our initial 6 night stay to 8 nights! Well done to all at the Savoy Court - we will return.

Fab Location

We had a great time on our 2 night stay at The Savoy which was fabulously located right by the pier. The staff were all friendly and very helpful. The only think I'd suggest is the bedroom could use a dressing table or bathroom shelf to put things on, We always live out of my suitcase on holiday so just need a chair to put it on (which they had) and a large bathroom shelf to spread our things out. There was a great Wardrobes but we dont need that. Great value for money and a nice clean place to stay :)

My friend and i booked the Savoy Court through Groupon and reading some other reviews were not expecting too much. How wrong were we, we had a fab time, the staff were fanastic making us feel really really welcome, our room had been refurbished and was lovely. The garden was lovely , the breakfast was lovely. My only negative is that the lift takes ages but who cares we had no need to rush we were on holiday. Keep up the good work.

A Lovely Hotel

Very nice staff and breakfast. Just 2 minutes walk to the beach to enjoy the sunshine. Surrounded by many restaurants and bars. The bus stop is very close to the hotel where you can take the 12 or 12A to seven sisters park or Brighton or anywhere else besides the sea.

Thanks For A Lovely Stay!

Very pleased with the hotel's location. I had hoped I'd managed to find a place near the Pier and I was right. Our room was very comfortable, and we liked the new memory foam pillows. The staff were extremely friendly and helpful throughout our stay and we were also pleased with the quality of the full cooked English Breakfast.

A Ray Of Sunshine In The Rain.,

We chose to stay in the Savoy Court Hotel as Yell.com indicated that it was one of the closest hotels to the wedding reception venue we were due to attend on the night of Saturday 9 June 2012. We were fortunate to find a parking space virtually opposite the hotel. The receptionist was very friendly and helpful and imnmediately sorted out our 24 hour car parking permit so we were free to roam Eastbourne. The double room was very nice, right at the top of the building, with a beautiful view of the attractive hotel back gardens which, unfortunately, because of the rain, we were not able to take advantage of. My only small gripe was the lack of a mirror within reach of the plug socket (the wind had certainly made its mark on my hair that day and badly needed the attention of a hairdryer) but the ever-helpful receptionist obliged with ensuring that a large mirror was placed in our room when we returned from our walk. Very nice touch and much appreciated. The bathroom was on the cosy side but no problem if you are only staying for a couple of nights. The bed was very comfortable and we both had a great night's sleep. The hotel is very attactive from the outside and I would definitely stay there again if I was in Eastbourne. It's in a great location too - just off the promenade and in easy reach of all the shops and the marvellous Crown and Anchor pub round the corner.

Fantastic Welcome And Stay

Me and my friend received a really lovely welcome,even though we arrived early we were able to have a light snack in the hotel before we checked in. Nothing was too much trouble for the staff when we asked. The hotel bedroom was immaculate, clean and very well decorated throughout and had really good facilities.The Manager was very welcoming and accomodating to our requests especially from my 80 year old friend who stayed with me. Nothing was too much trouble. My friend had not been to the seaside for over 10 years and her stay in your hotel was absolutely made perfect for her. I can not thank you emough for everything as you made her first stay away from her home, memorable, enjoyable and perfect. We are already making plans to visit your hotel again this year. Breakfast was lovely and arrived quickly, all the staff in your hotel were polite, well mannered and very efficient.We were made to feel so welcome that my 80 year old friend did not want to leave. Please send my thanks to all the hotel staff they are all a credit to the hotel and made our stay so enjoyable and relaxing and for my friend it was very important to me that she enjoyed her stay which she did. Pleasant Stay

Coming from Germany to UK, I wanted to spend a some day rest at the seaside just with walking along the beach, being outside, reading and relaxing, which I succeeded to do.
The hotel itself was fine, nice rooms and a pleasant atmosphere, in walking distance from the railway station and close to the beach. Breakfast: Very good, I especially enjoyed the English breakfast (I am from Germany). The hotel employes were very helpfull. Unfortunately, I did not find any international (French or German, I am half French-half German)TV channel like TV 5 or Phoenix, was it a temporary problem?

Good Staff, Good Location

Staff were very friendly and helpful on arrival. Also recomended some good places to eat and were kind enough to provide milk for our baby on check out. Good central location but be aware that it can be a bit noisey in that area.
The room was generally good value and breakfast was good also. My only improvements would be on safety. We had a family room and I'd like to see the kettle and cable secured so it couldn't be reached by a toddler and the wardrobe fixed to the wall. Other than that I quite pleased with this hotel.

my wife -being disabled, and I were impressed by th ehelp given to us while staying HERE, THE TOILET AND SHOWER AND SINK AREA TOOK a while to get used to and the ''bijou'' size of the room too, but all in all we got what we needed, and the staff could not have been more kind and considerate in any hotel, whatever price we paid! all in all the room was clean with comfortable beds-, food was great too. Stayed for three nights over a weekend. Room was clean and comfortable (shower was a bit pathetic), and the staff were friendly and helpful. Breakfast was good and consisted of a "full English" and/or cereal & toast. For the price an excellent hotel, and would definitely return.

An Enjoyable Stay

As with last year, I had a thoroughly enjoyable stay. My room was nice and when I reported to a staff member that my room was a little cold, a small heater was provided. Breakfast was lovely. There was a small stain on my bedding under the top cover and there were stains on the carpet and it's only these details which have stopped me from giving a higher grade. The hotel is well situated near the pier and ideal for my stay. Staff were friendly and accommodating.

Chapeau Pour L'accueil

Nous, une famille avec trois enfants, avons passé 5 jours au Savoy Court Hotel et recommandons chaleureusement cet établissement. Nous avons été accueillis par un personnel exceptionnellement gentil et serviable. L'hôtel est agréable et propre, condition à nos yeux indispensable pour se sentir bien. La situation de l'hôtel est idéale, à deux minutes de la jetée et de la plage. Nous avons adoré les longues balades en bord de mer et les excursions que nous avons faites en bus, Brighton et Beachy Head par exemple. Nous sommes arrivés à Eastbourne et au Savoy Court Hotel par hasard et ce fut vraiment un heureux hasard, nous reviendrons dans cette région où il y a beaucoup à voir et nous séjournerons à nouveau au Savoy Court Hotel!

Great Location

The staff at the hotel are all really friendly and welcoming. Nothing is too much trouble. Food is excellent and would certainly recommend you try their wonderful 'Curry Night' on Friday. Would have been great to have a menu at breakfast as only full english offered as hot and cereals/ milk for cold. However, our request for scrambled egg on toast was delivered well. family room was reasonable size with sufficient storage, however, bathroom was dated and inadequate for family of 4. Had to ask for more towels, no storage for toilettries, mouldy shower curtain and we ran out of toilet roll. Hopefully this will be recitified during the on-going renovation. The plus points far outway any negative ones and would happily stay their again. The kids loved the location as we were so close to the beach and pier, the weather was fabulous and we were looked after very well at the hotel.

Working Visit

my work takes me all round the country usually in the town/city center, I need some where that offers value for money and is located near to where I work. the savoy court hotel did that.
the owners are working hard to improve this hotel and there efforts can be seen every time I visit, first choice when I am in Eastbourne.keep up the good work
